St Oswalds Church was built as an extension to the school, but never used as such. The building has been used as a daughter church to St Hilda's in Griffithstown. Its bell was a familiar sound on a Sunday morning for most of my life and is still being used.

St Oswalds Close consists of a group of houses. These were erected on the site of the old school building and play yard, adjacent to St Oswalds Church.
